Millers Fish and Chips is a multi award-winning, internationally recognised fish and chip shop located in York, UK. Millers’ owners are also a recognised figure within the industry and have a great voice on their social accounts. following on from a number of tv appearances after being voted the best fish and chip shop in the uk, their social accounts already had a good following and the team wanted to ensure they were regularly posting engaging content. The Growth Journey

 

PROBLEM:
In 2017, the Millers won the best fish and chips award. After this huge accolade, the family business appeared on a number of TV programs and became ambassadors of fisheries. Despite this, their reach on social media was still very limited and reflective of their status in the industry.

SOLUTION:
We identified a number of opportunities on Facebook and Instagram that would help develop their User Growth. A media buying strategy involving our Interest Tree® Methodology should help in growing the reach, impressions and followers of the brand and amplify their voice.

RESULTS:
We grew consulted with Millers on content strategy, advocating regular animated posts on Instagram stories. With research into the industry we advised on the best posting times based for the maximum exposure. The culmination of this along with our media buying strategy resulted in User Growth of 628% over the campaign. A Facebook following of 3900 grew to 28,500!
